Featuring the base line-up of French metal experimentalists HYPNO5E, A BACKWARD GLANCE ON A TRAVEL ROAD gives the same universe of depth and dark ambiance, and truly brings a unique and stunning vision to music in their own way, obeying no musical code. Along with the HYPNO5E base line-up, A BACKWARD GLANCE ON A TRAVEL ROAD includes another guitar, chants, tribal percussion, and video projections warped from Emmanuel Jessua’s (guitars, vocals, piano, samples) own signature archives and movie extracts. Plus, everything is done acoustically, while keeping a progressive and epic feeling, the mood swings from haunting to hopeful, with guitar tones as deep as the abyss.
 
Giving a whole new outlook, A BACKWARD GLANCE ON A TRAVEL ROAD translates real life situations and imagination as if you were feeling the emotion in lieu with every music note, seeing every image generated from each scene, and visioning every concept interpreted to life. It’s beautiful. It’s the truth.
 
From the epic and moving thriller of “Regular Barbary” to the open minded mood swings and brilliant time changes of "Hier Regnant Desert", the band gives you the chills in a whole new way. Their self-titled release is already complete and ready to stun the world. Artwork was masterfully created by Thibault Lamy (drums).  A BACKWARD GLANCE ON A TRAVEL ROAD has released their first album this year. The promotion of this release will be handled by Music Media Consulting, which has previously worked with bands like Aaron, Franz Ferdinand, Deep Purple, Vincent Delerm, David Guetta, and many others. This album is considered by the press as one of the best albums of these past years, and has been downloaded more than 15 000 times in France and Europe.
