Participants: in order to spread information about entrepreneurship RC of Pondicherry Aurocity proposes to assemble in one place the following people:
Objective of the Project: it is mainly to give them guidance, create awareness and pass on information and to share experience about entrepreneurship for women.

Rotary Club of Pondicherry Aurocity
The Rotary Club of Pondicherry Aurocity has been doing good service to the People in Puducherry and surrounding Regions. Our activities are explained in brief.
1) At JIPMER, we have been providing ‘Shelter’ to the relatives of the Patients during day and night time with proper security, sanitary workers for male & female separately. Around 800 People take shelter every day.
2) The Club is also running ‘Sishubhavan’ at JIPMER Campus, taking care of the Children of the Staff working in JIPMER.
3) Our Club has started a Computer Building in a rural area, Killai, near Chidambaram and also provided Computers and 1400 Students in this area are benefitted in Computer education every year.
4) Our Club has been doing ‘Tree Plantation’ in few Colonies and not only Plant trees but take care of the trees till they are grown up to 6 feet.
5) In Puducherry our Club is having Seven Rotaract Clubs in the Colleges and we conduct Blood donation camps, eye donation camps etc., every year.
6) We have also improved sanitary conditions in a Govt. School at Muthiyalpet and also provided a sanitary Napkin Incinerator for the benefit of Girls Students. The expense was Rs.2.00 Lakhs.
7) It is Rotary, who played a dominant Role in eradication of Polio in the World and the services of Rotary have been appreciated by UN/WHO. We have been doing these servces in Pondicherry also.
