Arts Week

The Arts and Sciences week is a pilot pedagogic action organised by Ms Louvet at the Lycée Français Pondicherry. It’s the second year running that the Lycée is organising this event. It was held a long time back but began again only last year. During the next week the students of the Lycée will take part in scientific as well as artistic activities every afternoon from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.

Among the diverse activities there will be drawing, painting, graffiti, sculpture, circus activities, contemporary dancing as well as Indian and classical dances. There will also be workshops on journalism, photography, handwriting, astronomy, mathematics, baking, gastronomy, and Indian and traditional cuisine. Lecturers and specialists from each field will assist the students throughout the week that will culminate with an open presentation for the public on Saturday 15th February.
