Sri Krishna under the Kadamba Tree
An evening of odissi dance by the Auroville Odissi dance troupe. This programme is dedicated to Anu Ben. She gave dancing its rightful place in the schools. Originating in Orissa, Odissi highlights the beauty of curves and forms through graceful movements. The Troupe is of different age groups and backgrounds and they are taught by Kanchana. Their motto:
Nous dansons parce que cela nous rend heureux.
