Invitation to the 14th of July festivities in Pondicherry
Ladies, Gentlemen and dear compatriots
After 30 years of disappearance, for the second year running the Retraite aux flambeaux* will be on the streets of Pondicherry
Program for Wednesday 13 July 2011 :
18h00 : Gathering at the parc near the statue of Joan of Arc, facing Notre-Dame-des-Anges church.
19h00 : Departure of a marching band
20h00 : Arrival at the Consulate to return the beacons
A refreshment will be served by the Consulate.
French expatriots, residents or holiday makers, join the Retraite aux Flambeaux* by wearing the colours of France. (All accessories representing France are welcome , caps, hats, flags etc...)
Come all with your children!
Program for Thursday 14 July 2011 :
20h00 : Fireworks on the beach road facing the Consulate.
20h30 : Opening of the ball at the French Lycée of Pondicherry, rue Victor Simonel.
Entry fee: 100 Rs per person
Possible eats at the spot : French delicacies (Carré Prestige), Grill, Crêpes, Sandwichs, etc.
DJ GAVIN D'ROZARIO of Mumbai will make you danse till the midlle of the night.
Official Ticketing : from 06 to 13 Juillet 2011 :
At BAKER STREET, Bussy street, everyday from 11h to 12h.
At Le Club restaurant, Rue Dumas, from 19h to 20h.
At SATSANGA restaurant, rue Labourdonnais, from 20h to 21h
