Choco Là was started in 2009 by Srinath Balachandran, a chocolate entrepreneur and lover. He went to France and worked in master chocolate maker Mr. Jean Luc Klugesherz's chocolate kitchen. The chocolates here are 100% made in Pondicherry although he imports the raw material from Belgium. Other than classic recipes like Black Forest cake, Mousse and other products, Choco Là also has their signature dishes like the Cold Hot Chocolates and Chocolate pakodas which are a must.

Srinath calls this an Artisan Chocolate Boutique. And it truly is a standalone store, where every product has its uniqueness. Choco Là is different and is not looking to make it industrial. Party orders, Birthday cakes or name any function, Choco Là undertakes all orders. They even have concept products, where they make things made out of chocolate (Statue of liberty, Taj Mahal, Cricket Bat etc.) Choco Là gift boxes, T-shirts and mugs are also available! And there is one more specialty of Choco Là, you need a Birthday Cake in a hurry, Choco Là will provide you one in just 12mins.
