The Shop

The best way to describe the store would be ‘a modern friendly neighbourhood store’. Created in 1982, Grinde was the first self-service department store.
It is primarily a food store, with groceries, dairy products, Auroville products, ayurvedic cosmetics and well being products, house maintenance and cleaning products,  pet foods... Grinde also offers a range of services like new sim card activations, mobile recharges, phone bills, selling of satellite TV connections, and also recharge the TV subscription, Western Union etc.

Open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 1pm and 4 to 8.30pm

It is not just a grocery store, it is a multi purpose store. Friendly staff, and good choice of products.
